We are using IWCA Rules to judge the Championships. This is recognized by the wildfowl and decoy carving world as a venue they can rely on, where IWCA Rules are being used when their entries are judged. They have carved them using those rules. It’s a high standard and needs to be maintained.

IWCA Style Shorebird Categories (the IWCA shorebirds include wading birds)

-Curlews, godwits, and whimbrels

-Willets and yellowlegs (both)

-All plovers

-All sandpipers including dunlins

-Turnstones, knots, and dowitchers
